Created a clear public-facing brand and engagement platform recognised as best practice

Brand, website and engagement communications for Aberdeenshire Council alongside the Peterhead Board

CLIENT
Aberdeenshire Council supporting the We Are Peterhead Board
CHALLENGE
A government-funded programme required a clear brand, website and communications approach to engage residents and support delivery, with no single, joined-up platform in place.
OUTCOME
A clear, consistent public-facing brand and communications platform that enabled the board to engage residents, explain funding activity and support ongoing programme visibility.

The brief

Following a competitive tender, DXDMedia was appointed to develop the brand, website and communications approach for the Peterhead Board.

The programme needed to be visible, understandable and accessible to residents. Communications had to bring together funding information, activity and engagement in a way that felt clear and consistent.

The board also required support to communicate confidently across public channels, media and stakeholder interactions.

What we did

We created the  ‘Together We are Peterhead’ identity to provide a clear and consistent foundation for all communications.

A dedicated website was developed as the central information hub, bringing together programme detail, updates and opportunities for engagement.

We introduced a structured communications approach across social and press to ensure regular, consistent messaging to residents.

Alongside this, we supported the board with media preparation, helping key individuals communicate clearly and confidently in public-facing situations.

What we delivered

  • The programme launched with a clear, recognisable identity across all communications.
  • Residents had a central place to access information and understand activity.
  • The website was recognised by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government as an example of best practice for Pride in Place programmes.

This programme matters to Peterhead, so getting the communication right was critical. DXDMedia helped us create something that feels joined-up, accessible and genuinely useful for residents.
